<p>The business world is an incredibly competitive place and for Business Schools, there is no exception. We worked with the Head of Glyndŵr University School of Business to develop a new brand position. This positioning had to encapsulate the full range of support that Glyndŵr offers the business community.</p>

<p>We created ‘<b>In Business’</b>, a positioning that can be easily and consistently incorporated throughout the School’s literature, online activity and ongoing marketing campaigns. At its core is the word “In”, not only incorporated into the tagline ‘<b>In Business. For Business. With Business.’ </b>but also in compelling and engaging messages such as Inspire, Innovate, Intelligent, Insight and Involve.</p>
<p>In April 2013, the School is launching the Glyndŵr University Executive MBA. The development of this brand has been integral to the success of the course communications deigned to attract the next generation of business minds. Mad Hen is proud to be supporting this new MBA by delivering the module, ‘<b>Brand Power’</b>.</p>
<p>We look forward to working with Glyndŵr University School of Business as it continues to raise awareness of the exceptional support it offers the wider business community.</p>

<p>To be successful, sometimes you have to turn up the heat and that’s exactly what we did for a North Wales chilli producer.</p>
<p>Dragon Chillies is the brainchild of Gary Smith, whose desire and passion for good food resulted in him planting, growing and harvesting chillies to create delectable sauces, jams and chutneys. Our brief was simple: to reposition the packaging to present a product that looked as good as it tasted.</p>
<p>When the new packaging launched in June 2012, order numbers soared and were far higher than expected. With his new packaging, Gary secured a presence with new high-end retailers, including the Rhug Estate and The Centre For Welsh Food on the Bodnant Estate.</p>

We also reviewed and refreshed their philosophy, b<em></em>rand values, and the attributes that drive their passion for success.<em></em></p>
<p>With this groundwork in place, we completely overhauled Design Reality’s communications including their key messages, visual identity and tone of voice.<br />

<p>We transformed their website, making it more client-centric, showcasing the world-class projects they have delivered. We developed a new press communications programme, designed to raise Design Reality’s profile and bring their success to the attention of potential new clients. And, looking to the future, we worked with the Design Reality team to develop strategies and materials to exploit every new business opportunity.</p>
<p>By transforming their brand positioning, Design Reality has found new confidence, energy and passion, both in their company and their services. And, with the brand foundations now firmly in place, they have a platform to begin the next phase of their business development.</p>

<p>We began by evaluating the market, exploring the needs of retailers and their shoppers. Then we used our findings to develop a simple but irresistible proposition: the unique provenance of food from the Isle of Anglesey. We used this point of difference to develop a full suite of brand communications, from customer presentations and promotional copy to packaging design.</p>
